Terms of Service

Draft — pending legal review. These terms govern use of BikeCheck, operated by Transport Technical Innovation Ltd (“we”), including the mobile app and the bikecheck.ttil.net portal.

1. The service

BikeCheck turns a phone or tablet into a brake-performance testing aid targeted at UK DVSA certification. Test results are recorded as append-only records and may be submitted for attestation and certification. You are responsible for the accuracy of vehicle and operator details you enter.

2. Licences and devices

Access is governed by a licence code bound to a limited number of devices. Misuse, sharing beyond your device allowance, or attempts to tamper with signed results may result in suspension or revocation.

3. Acceptable use

You must not reverse-engineer the attestation mechanism, falsify results, or use the service unlawfully. Certification outcomes remain subject to the relevant authority’s rules.

4. Liability

The service is provided on a best-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under English law.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
